Wednesday 30 October 2024 Bede Buzz - Autumn 1 We haven’t received our final Ofsted report yet so we aren’t allowed to give any details out to you until we do. However, we did want to say that throughout it all, as they do every day, our children were nothing short of wonderful and the comments from the title here were made about them. We are so proud of the people that they are and how they are growing into such thoughtful humans able to think about themselves, and their emotions and the world around them. They are learning how to deal with challenge effectively; how to support others; how to give their best and how to work towards what they want from life. These are skills that everyone needs, and when you have them, you really can make positive changes in the world for yourself and others.

Thursday 24 October 2024 Changing States What a productive half term it’s been for Class 4. Our writing about the fearsome beast Grendel has led us to delve in to our writer’s tool kit to use amazing adjectives, descriptive verbs and precise nouns to retell the moment the gruesome beast burst in to Beowulf’s great hall and snatched 30 of his best warriors. Our words have been chosen so carefully for effect that any reader will be able to imagine the terrifying scene we wanted to show them.
