Print, Practise and Parties
The children in Class 2 have enjoyed such a creative half term.
We have been practising our past tense words to make amazing stories that they will be bringing home before Christmas, all about the time they found an incredible creature called a Bog Baby!
In maths, we have been trying problem solving involving addition and subtraction, telling the time when it says quarter past and quarter to and also finding out about 2D and 3D shapes.
Our artwork has been amazing this half term. We have painted, printed, collaged and patterned our way to some incredible pieces of work in the style of an artist called Rosie James.
Finally, we have spent a lot of time learning songs and practising our drama skills for the Christmas show, which we hope you’ll enjoy seeing on Tuesday 16th December.
After all of that hard work, we think we deserve a great Christmas party and a well-earned two weeks off school!
