Our Classes

At Bede, we believe that every child deserves a tailored learning experience that meets their individual needs while fostering creativity and curiosity. Our classes cater to children from 4 to 11 years old, with one class per year group, each averaging 30 pupils.

We begin with Reception Class, our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) class, providing a nurturing environment for our youngest learners. Following this, we have six mainstream classes, covering Years 1 through 6, where each child continues to build on their learning journey in a supportive and engaging atmosphere.

In addition, we offer specialized support through our four ARMS (Additional Resource for Mainstream Support) classes, which are designed for children who need extra help to thrive academically and socially. These classes provide smaller, focused learning environments tailored to meet individual needs. For further support, we also have the ABC group, aimed at providing targeted assistance for children who require additional educational interventions.

This structure allows us to ensure that all of our students, regardless of their starting point, receive the attention and resources they need to succeed.
