Perseverance, Poetry and Paragraphs

Class 6 have shown concentration, perseverance and enjoyment in their first few weeks of school.  

 

They have explored descriptive and figurative language in writing lessons and learned to structure longer pieces into paragraphs. They thrived when challenged to write a rap about safety in the community and enjoyed studing their favourite poems in anticipation of World Poetry Day.

 

In PE, the children have shown excellent team work and communication skills when playing netball competitively. In preparation for their first trumpet lesson, the children were shown how to carefully handle and maintain their own instrument. They were extremely excited for their first lesson!
