Grow for It!

ABC has been striving forward with RWI Phonics, this term. This has helped the children improve their reading and spelling. They are able to recognise many sounds.

We have enjoyed the warmer weather and have been using Receptions garden to have ‘Teddy Bear Picnics’ in the sunshine. The children read stories or tell stories to our soft toys or each other.

In maths we have been looking at number bonds to 5, 10 and 20. We’ve been using our knowledge of numbers to help with addition and subtraction.

On Fridays we have been learning about Health, Wellbeing and growing up. We have studied friendships, keeping clean and teeth brushing.

We have also enjoyed getting ready for Easter, making crafts and having an egg hunt, we can’t wait to eat our cress we grew, with our adult at home.
