Fairy-tale term

This half-term, Reception have been exploring their imaginations through our fairy-tale topic “Once Upon a Time…”. So far, we have explored stories about knights and dragons; princesses and monsters; dinosaurs and department stores!

We are enjoying it so much we are going to continue it after half-term so we can all live “Happily Ever After.”.

Through this topic we have been developing our social interaction, our imaginative roleplay, our reading, our writing and our problem-solving skills. The stories we have explored have been a great starting point for developing our own ideas in our play and becoming actors and authors of our own tremendous tales.
