Creative Class 2

We produced some amazing art work this half term, inspired by Rosie James. She uses layers, colour dyes and letters to make interesting pieces of work linked to nature.

 We went to the forest to collect things, used iPads to make digital art and then combined it with wax painting and pencil sketching for the brilliant work in our art show. Thanks for coming!

 In science, we have learned about animals and the habitats they live in. We sorted them into groups of animals and learnt about the adaptations which help them to survive in their habitats.

 We have done a lot of number work in maths, learning what parts different numbers have and beginning to add and subtract with larger numbers than we used last year.

 We love reading The Bog Baby and have started writing our very own stories; look out for them coming home next month… they’re amazing!
