Castles & Construction

Class 7 used their DT skills to design and make a bug hotel for our new forest school. They used a variety of tools to construct the shelter, engaging their skills to join the materials together.  Tommy-Lee especially enjoyed using the saw and claimed it was the best thing ever!

Class 7 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Newcastle Keep. Look at Skylar in the stocks. Why do you think she was imprisoned there? They enjoyed exploring the building and imagining what it would be like to live in a castle.  They were all fascinated, yet disgusted, at the idea of gong farmers! Ask them all about it to find out more.
