A Supertato Start to Class 9

What a super start to the new term! In Class 9, we have been reading stories all about Supertato to fit in with our theme of ‘Scintillating Superheroes!’

In Maths, we each had a pot of real coins (1p’s) and we went shopping in Class 9 for vegetables.

We explored our very own Fruit and Veg shop and bought lots of different vegetables, counting out our pennies carefully. We put the veg in our shopping bags ready to make vegetable soup.

We used a range of cooking utensils to peel, chop and mix vegetables. We added them all together to make yummy vegetable soup! We then followed the path of healthy eating and made fruit kebabs. We even made a superhero salad and tested out our super powers. What a blast!
