A Scintillating Start to Class 8

We have made a fabulous start to the year in class 8. Through our topic of ‘Scintillating Superheroes’, we have designed and created Superhero dioramas and thought about the qualities that superheroes need to save the world!

We have made some healthy, Superhero soup using potatoes that we grew last term. It was delicious!

In science, we have started studying different rocks and soils. We have investigated which rocks would be strong enough to make a kitchen worktop. Granite was the hardest rock we tested.

We were excited to take part in Sports day too! We worked well in our teams and encouraged everyone.
